Tools / Sentry

Track errors, trace slow requests, and replay user sessions across web, mobile, and game stacks. Includes AI-assisted debugging, cron and uptime checks.
Sentry is an application monitoring platform that combines error tracking, performance tracing, and user experience tools in one service. Teams install an SDK in their application, and Sentry captures exceptions, stack traces, slow requests, and user sessions as they happen in production. The product line covers error monitoring, logs, metrics, distributed tracing, profiling, session replay, size analysis, cron monitoring, and uptime monitoring.
Beyond raw error capture, Sentry ships Seer, an AI debugging suite that includes an agent, Autofix for suggested fixes, and AI code review. Tracing extends to AI workloads specifically, with a dedicated agent tracing product and an AI observability solution for teams building LLM features. Integrations cover GitHub, Slack, a CLI, and an MCP server, so alerts and context can flow into the tools engineers already use.
The platform targets a wide range of stacks: dedicated solutions exist for web and full-stack development, mobile crash reporting, game crash reporting, ecommerce, and OpenTelemetry-based setups. Real user monitoring and session replay sit on the user experience side, while profiling and size analysis help with performance and bundle weight. Sentry also runs a public sandbox, publishes a changelog and status page, and produces the Syntax podcast for developers.
Best for
Errors and exceptions, application performance via traces and profiling, logs, metrics, user sessions through replay, plus cron jobs and endpoint uptime. Each of these is a separate product under the Sentry platform.
The site lists SDK collections for web and full-stack, mobile, and game development, plus OpenTelemetry. The full language and framework list lives on the All SDKs page.
Seer is Sentry's AI debugging line. It includes an agent for investigation, Autofix for proposed fixes, and AI code review, layered on top of the error data Sentry already collects.
Yes. GitHub and Slack integrations are highlighted on the homepage, alongside a CLI and an MCP server for connecting Sentry data to AI tools.
The homepage links to a pricing page but doesn't list plan prices itself. Check sentry.io/pricing for current tiers; there is also a demo request path aimed at enterprise buyers.
Yes. Cron Monitoring watches scheduled jobs and Uptime Monitoring checks availability; both are listed as first-class products in the platform menu.
