About Kinde

Kinde is a platform for SaaS teams that combines authentication, user management, billing, and feature flags in a single product. On the auth side it covers sign-in, user management, connected apps, and access management, with B2B features like organizations for multi-tenancy. The billing module handles monetization, and release management tools include environments and feature flags. Branding options include a page designer and custom domains. Developers get SDKs for a wide range of stacks — backend (.NET, Elixir, Express, Java, Next.js, Node.js, Nuxt, PHP, Python, Remix, Ruby, SvelteKit, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, Express GraphQL), frontend (JavaScript, React, plus a community Angular SDK), and native (Android, Expo, Flutter, iOS, React Native) — and Kinde can also be used without an SDK. There's a public API, starter kits on GitHub, documentation, a Discord and Slack community, a public roadmap, and a system status page. A free tier is available via the 'Start for free' signup, and there's an Enterprise offering.

What Kinde does

Kinde groups several SaaS infrastructure pieces under one roof:

  • Authentication and users — sign-in flows, user management, connected apps, and lead generation tools.
  • B2B and access control — organizations for multi-tenancy, plus access management.
  • Billing — a monetization module for handling subscriptions and payments.
  • Release management — environments and feature flags.
  • Branding — a page designer for auth screens and support for custom domains.

Developer experience

Kinde publishes official SDKs across backend, frontend, and native platforms, including .NET, Elixir, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, Next.js, Nuxt, Remix, SvelteKit, React, React Native, Flutter, iOS, and Android. There's also a community-maintained Angular SDK. If your stack isn't covered, Kinde documents how to use the platform without an SDK, and you can request new ones. Starter kits are available on GitHub, and the platform exposes public APIs.

Resources and support

The site includes full documentation, a product demo, a blog, release notes, and a public feature roadmap. Community help is available through Discord and Slack, alongside standard support and a status page. Kinde also maintains a directory of expert partners you can hire.

Pricing

Kinde offers a free way to start (via the signup link) and a separate Enterprise plan. Detailed pricing tiers aren't shown in the material reviewed here — check kinde.com/pricing for current details.
