Tools / Hack the SEO

WordPress plugin combining SEO (Google rankings) and GEO (AI citations). 90-day plan: rewrites pages, fixes errors, adds links. You approve; undo anytime.
What it does
Hack The SEO connects Claude to your WordPress site through a plain connector and teaches it the job. On day one, Claude walks through your site, reads your last three months of Google data and gives you a simple check-up: what is fine, and the three things to fix first. It then prepares a 90-day plan (basics, traffic, leads) that adapts to your site — a young site spends longer on the basics, a shop moves faster to leads. Each week is prepared the Thursday before, and you approve it with one click.
From then on, Claude visits your site every morning, does the day's task, checks it is live, and writes you a short report. A typical week might look like: Monday it checks your numbers, Tuesday it updates an old article, Wednesday it improves a title, Thursday you approve the next week, Friday it links pages together. With Claude's Pro plan, it comes by on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On the 1st of the month, you get a report comparing clicks on pages it touched against pages it never touched.
SEO and GEO together
The core idea is that ranking on Google (SEO) and being cited by AI assistants (GEO) are handled in one place. AVA, the plugin's AI visibility module, asks the AIs every night who they recommend, tracks the share of AI answers citing your brand, and spots where a competitor is cited instead of you. That information feeds back into what Claude writes.
Not an article generator
The team is explicit about the difference from AI writers that fill a blog: the work is a consultant's job rather than volume. That means reworking your money pages (titles, copy, proof, calls to action), bringing old articles up to date, linking pages towards what pays, fixing errors (duplicates, broken links, structured data), and only writing new articles when one is needed for a precise search. Every action is measured a week and a month later.
Measuring what worked
The plugin's reports use a simple control-group approach: pages Claude worked on are compared with similar pages it left alone. Since Google moves for everyone, the gap between the two groups is attributed to the work — with a margin of error, and the report tells you when it is too early to conclude.
Safeguards
If you already use Claude, the plugin plugs into it — the site also documents how Claude connects to WordPress directly, and what that lacks (no plan, no Google numbers, no safety tests, no measurement).
The team
Hack The SEO is built by Eric and Bruno Ibanez, two brothers based in Montpellier, France, and authors of "Le SEO pour booster sa croissance" (Dunod). The site lists client results, including a B2B services case with +216% and keywords in Google's top 3 attributed €15,000 more monthly revenue, though as they note themselves, every site is different.
Getting started
The site offers a free 20-minute video call on your own site, and there are two ways to start listed on the homepage. Pricing is not published on the page reviewed here — check the site for current details. The plugin is rated 5.0 on Google according to the site itself.
